Celtic Knot Longarm & Machine Quilting Templates
Check out this video demonstrating the Celtic Knot template. It's so easy to use and gives you a great looking quilting pattern.
Take a peek the line art on this page of the clamshell quilting pattern and a sample of border magic we created with the Celtic Knot templates. These are just two of the great things you will be able to do with these templates and we have a ton more designs to show you later.
By the way, Celtic is pronounced Kel'tic.
The only time it's pronounced Sell'tic is when talking about the basketball team.
The patented rotating templates come in two sizes: 6" and 9" (12" has been discontinued). An anchor post, stabilizer pin & wafer plus instruction sheet is included with each template. The 3" template does not use or include an anchor post or wafer.
Each template makes an exact half-circle, so the 9" template made one half of a 9" circle, etc. A finished Celtic Knot is larger than the circle size, so take that into consideration when planning your design space.
We also offer a tiny 3" template (looks just like the larger ones). However, the 3" Celtic Knot template is too small for the anchor post hole meaning that it doesn't rotate around the anchor post like the others but is still a handy little stinker if I do say so myself. It can be used to make all of the designs except the rotating Celtic Knot.
Craftsy has graciously given us permission to post screen shots from Amy Johnson's class series Quilting with Rulers on a Home Machine. Amy is shown in the photos on this page using our Celtic Knot template both with and without the anchor post. Thanks Amy! And thank you again, Craftsy!
